For over 50 years Vanguard has designed and manufactured power transformers, power inductors, RF transformers and RF inductors for industrial, military and space applications. Vanguard’s corporate headquarters is located in Huntington Beach, California where administration, R&D, design development, prototyping and light manufacturing are performed. Primary production facilities in Mexico, Guatemala, and China adhere to the highest technical and manufacturing quality standards. Listed among our customers are: Vanguard’s 2 in-house, fully equipped tool & die and materials fabrication shops support production of numerous varieties of standard and custom part types. Utilizing CNC equipment Vanguard is able to supply custom designs and packaging with short lead times. A qualification test laboratory with failure analysis capability, located at the California facility, satisfies special testing requirements. Vanguard’s modern Mexicali, Mexico facility employs 400 and produces typical lot sizes up to 10,000. The Guatemala and China facilities manufacture lot sizes greater than 10,000 and 25,000, respectively. Typical applications: Microcircuits, guidance systems, oilfield telemetry, navigation, inverters, converters, power supplies, aircraft, shipboard, EW & ECM, avionics, telephone & radio communications, industrial controls, commercial signaling systems, industrial and aircraft lighting, test & measurement instrumentation, and spaceborne systems.
